Hunt & Humphry was established in February 1996 as a specialist project law firm. As project lawyers, our aim is to assist resource developers to make their projects happen. We practise in all aspects of resource development and land use, including laws relating to mining and petroleum, native title and Aboriginal heritage, property, environment, land development, contracts, construction and State agreements.
Hunt & Humphry's expertise in both resources and native title law has been recognised in Legal Profiles (an Australia wide survey of law firms and law service consumers). We are the only small firm ranked "Premier" (the top classification) in both categories and we are one of very few non-national firms receiving that ranking in any category. Extracts from Legal Profiles can be found here.
Hunt & Humphry has four partners - Michael Hunt, Chris Humphry, Melissa Watts and Josh Hunt. They are assisted by associate lawyers and supported by skilled administrative staff and the latest computerised technology.
