James Hunt

James graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts in 2008. He was admitted as a practitioner in the Supreme Court of Western Australia and High Court of Australia in 2010. James joined Hunt & Humphry in 2011 after having worked in a large Perth commercial law firm for over two years.

James has appeared in the Warden’s Court, Supreme Court of Western Australia and Court of Appeal. He has instructed senior counsel in major mining related litigation in the Warden’s Court and Supreme Court and Court of Appeal. James has provided advice in connection with joint venture, farm-in, mineral sharing and royalty agreements as well as resources company acquisitions. James assists the legal principals in relation to litigation, resources and commercial law including appearing in the Warden’s Court and Supreme Court.
