Paul Harley


Paul advises on a wide range of transactions and issues in the project lifecycle, including resource and infrastructure tenure issues, commercial matters and project structuring.  Paul also has extensive experience on financing projects, from an equity and debt perspective, having gained experience working with international lenders and equity stakeholders including hedge funds and pension funds on M&A transactions, project development and project financing.


Paul started his career in Perth with international firm Allens Arthur Robinson (now Allens Linklaters) in its Energy, Resources and Infrastructure team where he worked closely with Perth based energy and resource clients.


Paul spent several years working with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission in its WA Regional Office, gaining experience in corporate governance, regulation and interaction with regulators before working in the finance and asset management sectors (including with international firm Ashurst) in London and Sydney.


Paul was admitted as a practitioner in the Supreme Courts of Western Australia and Victoria and the High Court of Australia in 2001. He holds a B.Comm/LLB (Hons) from the University of Western Australia.
